Militar tuloy ang patrulya sa West Philippine Sea

Ipagpapatuloy ng militar ang pagpapatrolya sa West Philippines Sea kasunod ng presensya ng Chinese maritime militia malapit sa Pag-asa Island.

Ayon kay AFP chief General Benjamin Madrigal Jr., binabantayan ng militar at ng iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno kabilang ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang presensya ng Chinese vessels sa lugar.

Ipinapadala aniya ang mga military report sa mga ahensya para maresolba ito.

Sa ulat ng Western Command, nasa 200 vessel ang namataan sa pinag-aagawang isla.

Samantala, sa inilabas na pahayag, hinikayat ng Department of Defense ang mga mangingisda na ipagpatuloy ang pangingisda na pasok sa exclusive economic zone ng Pilipinas.
