Sagupaan sa pagitan ng pulis at NPA naganap sa Mountain Province
Kasabay ng paggunita ng ika-50 anibersaryo ng New People’s Army (NPA) nakasagupa ng mga pulis ang mga miyembro ng rebeldeng grupo sa Mountain Province.
Ayon kay PNP chief, General Oscar Albayalde, naganap ang sagupaan sa pagitan ng mga tauhan ng Regional Mobile Gruop ng PNP at ng mga rebelde sa bayan ng Bauko.
Nagsimula aniya ang bakbakan pasado alas 9:00 ng umaga ng Biyernes, March 29.
Sa ngayon patuloy pa ang pagkalap ng impormasyon ng PNP headquarters sa insidente.
Si Albayalde ay nasa Camp Bado Dangwa sa La Trinidad, Benguet, Biyernes ng umaga para sa command conference kasama ang Police Regional Office sa Cordillera.
