Changi Airport ng Singapore, nanguna pa rin sa ‘best airports in the world’
Nanguna pa rin ang Changi Airport sa Singapore sa listahan ng top 10 airports sa buong mundo ayon sa research firm na Skytrax.
Ang naturang paliparan ay nagkokonekta sa mga pasahero sa mahigit 200 destinasyon at kayang mag-accommodate ng average na 5,000 arrivals at departures kada linggo.
Pumangalawa ang Tokyo International Airport Haneda ng Japan, sumunod ang Incheon International Airport ng South Korea.
Nasa 4th spot at 5th spots ang Hamad International Airport sa Doha, Qatar at Hong Kong International Airport.
Ang iba pang airports na pasok sa top 10 ay ang sumusunod:
- Central Japan International Airport
- Munich Airport
- London Heathrow Airport
- Tokyo Narita Airport
- Zürich Airport
Samantala, walang airport sa Pilipinas na pumasok sa top 100 list.
Pero noong 2018, ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ay nasama sa “most improved” airports sa buong mundo batay sa survey ng Skytrax.
Matatandaan na ang NAIA Terminal 1 ay napili sa hiwalay na pag-aaral bilang world’s worst airport mula 2011 hanggang 2013.
Taong 2017 ay natanggal na ang NAIA sa top 20 worst airports in the world at sa parehong taon ay kinilala ang Iloilo International Airport, Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Clark International Airport at davao International Airport bilang Asia’s best.
