DENR, sang-ayon na itaas ang environmental fee sa Boracay
Suportado ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) ang pagtataas ng environmental fee mula sa mga turista sa Boracay Island.
Sa media briefing ng Boracay Interagency Task Force (BIATF), sang-ayon si DENR Secretary Roy Cimatu para sa pagsasaayos ng waste management.
Sa tulong nito, mapapabuti aniya ang kondisyon sa mas malinis na Boracay.
Makatutulong din aniya ito na masolusyunan ang iba pang environmental issue sa isla tulad ng pagpapabuti ng sanitary landfill ng Boracay sa Malay, Aklan.
Sa ngayon, nasa P75 ang sinisingil na environmental fee sa lugar.
