Nakipagpulong si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Song Tao, pinuno ng International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) sa Matina Enclaves sa Davao City, Miyerkules ng gabi.
Namataan din sa pulong si Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Zhao Jianhua.
Ang IDCPC na pinamumunuan ni Song Tao ay isang ahensya sa ilalim ng Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) na may trabahong makipag-ugnayan sa mga political parties at mga organisasyon sa iba’t ibang bansa.
Layon nitong maitaguyod ang pagpapalalim sa ugnayan ng mga estado.
Hindi pa sinasabi ng Malacañang kung ano ang napag-usapan ni Pangulong Duterte at Song Tao sa kanilang pulong.
