64 na rebeldeng NPA sumuko sa Surigao del Sur
Umabot sa 64 na pawang miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) ang sumuko sa mga sundalo san bayan ng Lanuza sa Surigao del Sur.
Ayon kay 1st Lt. Ronald Romorosa, civil military operations officer ng 36th infantry battalion, ang pagsuko ay bunga ng Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) ng gobyerno.
Dahil alam aniya ng mga rebeldeng mabibigyan sila ng benepisyo ng pamahalaan ay nagpasya ang mga ito na sumuko.
Naganap ang pagsuko ilang araw bago ang ika-50 anibersaryo ng NPA sa March 29.
Ang Sitio Ibuan sa Barangay Mampi ay stronghold ng NPA sa Northeastern Mindanao partikular sa Surigao Del Sur.
