CJ Lucas Bersamin, may paalala sa mga mamamahayag na nagco-cover sa hudikatura
Nagpaalala si Supreme Court Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin ang mga mamahayag na nagco-cover ng Philippine justice beat hinggil sa kanilang obligasyon.
Sa pahayag matapos nitong panumpain ang mga bagong officer ng Justice Reporters Organization (JUROR) sinabi ni Bersamin na bagaman may kani-kaniyang news organization at mga boss ang mga mamamahayag, ang mga ito ay pawang tumatayo para lamang sa iilang dahilan gaya ng pagpapasweldo.
Binigyang-diin ng punong mahistrado na ang totoong misyon ng mga reporter ay ang tuparin ang obligasyon nila sa taumbayan at hindi kung kanino pa man.
Dumalo sa nasabing oath taking ceremony sina dating Chief JMustice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, incumbent at retired Supreme Court at Court of Appeals justices, Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez, former Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez, former Commission on Elections Commisioner Lucenito Tagle, Public Attorney’s Office chief Persida Acosta, state and city prosecutors gayundin ang ilang mga kasamahan sa pamamahayag.

Ang JUROR ay binuo ni Atty. Bert Castro ng Manila Chronicle matapos ang 1986 EDSA People Power.
Ito ay ipinarehistro noong 2000 ni Canlas na siya namang nag silbi bilang founding president.
