Konstruksyon ng SLEX toll road 4, sinimulan na
Sinimulan na ang konstruksyon ng South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) toll road 4 sa isinagawang groundbreaking ceremony ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at San Miguel Corporation.
May haba ang extension road na 66.74 kilometers mula Sto. Tomas, Batanggas hanggang Lucena City, Quezon.
Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, mula sa tatlong oras, inaasahang bababa na sa isang oras ang biyahe mula Maynila patungong Batangas, Quezon at Bicol.
Malaking tulong aniya ang bagong kalsada sa mga bumibiyahe papunta at paluwas ng Southern provinces lalo na tuwing summer at holiday season.
Aabot ng P13.1 billion ang halaga ng proyekto.
Oras na matapos ang konstruksyon, nasa 17,000 sasakyan ang maaaring makadaan kada araw.
