‘El Bimbo,’ ‘Himala’ nanguna sa mga nominado sa Gawad Buhay Awards

Nanguna ang mga original Filipino musicals sa mga nominasyon sa 11th Philstage Gawad Buhay Awards for the Performing Arts.

Nanguna na may tig 12 nominasyon ang Eraserheads jukebox musical “Ang Huling El Bimbo” at ang “Himala: Isang Musikal” na adapted ni Ricky Lee mula sa 1982 Ishmael Bernal classic film.

Sumunod ang APO Hiking Society musical “Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!” na may 11 nominasyon.

Sa taong ito ay walang mga nominado para sa outstanding production for children, original script, original musical composition at male featured performance in a play.

Ang Gawad Buhay ay ang unang industry awards na exclusive sa performing arts.

Simula noong nakaraang taon, nag-focus ang Gawad Buhay sa theater productions at hindi na kasama ang mga kategorya para sa sayaw at ballet productions.
