Steel detailing company sa Pasig City inereklamo ng BIR sa DOJ dahil sa hindi pagbabayad ng buwis
Kabuuang 27 counts ng mga reklamong tax evasion ang inihain ng BIR sa DOJ laban sa isang steel detailing company mula sa Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
Tinukoy ng BIR ang respondent na Steel Pencil Philippines na nasa negosyo ng design, feasibility studies, steel detailing, lifting studies at concrete and piping.
Labing-pitong counts ng Willful Attempt to Evade or Defeat Payment of Withholding Tax On Compensation mula Enero 2015 hanggang Marso 2018 at 10 counts ng Willful Attempt to Evade or Defeat Payment of Expanded Withholding Tax mula Mayo 2016 hanggang Marso 2018 ang isinampa ng BIR laban sa Steel Pencils.
Kasama sa kinasuhan ang Managing Director ng kumpanya na si Reegan Lawton.
Ayon sa BIR, umabot sa mahigit 10 milyong piso ang utang sa buwis ng kumpanya mula Enero 2015 hanggang Marso 2018.
