Duterte kay Misuari: Federalismo dapat dumaan sa legislative process
Iginiit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na dapat alinsunod sa Konstitusyon ang federalism setup na nais ni Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding chairman Nur Misuari.
Sa panayam ng media sa pangulo sa 122nd Founding Anniversary rites ng Philippine Army sa Taguig City, sinabi nito na dapat dumaan sa legislative process ang isinusulong na federalismo.
Sinabi ni Duterte na alam naman ni Misuari na may proseso para rito.
“‘Yung federalism is being crafted by Congress. Maybe somehow we can craft a set up within the federal structures, pero it has to go into a process and I’m sure chairman Misuari knows that — everything must be in accordance with the Constitution, ani Duterte.
Nauna nang sinabi ng pangulo na nagbanta ng giyera si Misuari kung mabibigo ang administrasyon na isulong ang federalismo.
Dahil dito ay iminungkahi ng presidente ang pagbuo sa negotiating panels na tatalakay sa uri ng federalismo na nais ni Misuari para sa mga Moro.
