Umakyat sa ikatlong pwesto para sa pagka-senador si Sen. Sonny Angara base sa pinakahuling survey ng Pulse Asia.
Sa nasabing survey na ginawa mula February 24 hanggang 28 gamit ang face-to-face interview sa 1,800 respondents ay nakasama sa 3rd spot ng mambabatas si dating Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go.
Nanatili namang hawak ni Sen. Grace Poe ang 1st spot (67.5 percent) samantalang nasa ikalawang pwesto si Sen. Cynthia Villar (61.0 percent).
Sa kanilang pahayag, sinabi ng Pulse Asia na karamihan sa mga pasok sa top positions ay mga kasalukuyan at mga dating miyembro na rin ng Senado.
Mula sa kabuuang 62 mga kandidato sa pagka-sendor, umaabot sa 14 ang may “statistically chance” na pumasok sa magic 12 ayon pa sa Pulse Asia.
Kabilang sa mga pasok sa top 12 ay sina dating Senator Lito Lapid, 49 percent; Taguig City Representative Pia Cayetano, 47 percent; dating Philippine National Police chief Ronald dela Rosa, 44.6 percent; Senator Nancy Binay, 40.5 percent at dating Senator Mar Roxas, 39.8 percent.
Pasok naman sa top 14 sina dating Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr., 36.8 percent; Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos, 36 percent; Senator Aquilino Pimentel III, 35.6 percent; dating Senator Jinggoy Estrada, 33.9 percent at Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs Francis Tolentino, 32.1 percent.
Sa mga panahong ginawa ang survey ay kasisimula pa lamang ng nationwide campaign, pumutok ang isyu sa tigdas outbreak at ang hamon ng Otso Diretso sa mga kandidato ng administrasyon para sa isang debate.
