6,000 caregivers kailangan sa Japan

Nasa 6,000 caregivers ang kailangan ngayon sa bansang Japan.

Ayon kay Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) administrator Bernard Olalia, marami na ang matatanda sa Japan pero kulang ang caregivers sa ilang health facilities.

Ang hiring sa mga caregivers ay simula na sa April 1 at idadaan sa private recruitment agencies.

Ipapasok ang mga aplikante sa bagong specialized skilled worker visa para sa mga foreign workers .

Dalawa ang uri ng visa, isa para sa semi-skilled worker gaya ng caregiver na 5 taong kontrata at isa para sa highly-skilled worker na pwedeng magkaroon ng immigrant status makalipas ang 5 taon sa trabaho.

Nagbabala naman ang POEA na mag-ingat sa illegal recruiters at huwag maniwala sa recruitment agency na nagsasabing tumatanggap sila ng aplikante para sa bagong visa.
