Crackdown sa mga OFW sa UAE, ‘fake news’ ayon sa DOLE
Tiniyak ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) na walang Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) sa United Arab emirates na maipapadeport.
Ito ay kasunod ng mga kumakalat na balita online na magsasagawa ng crackdown laban sa mga dayuhang manggagawa ang UAE simula sa buwan ng Abril.
Ayo kay Labor Sec. Silvestre Bello III, hindi totoo ang nasabing balita.
Sinabi na rin aniya nina International Labor Affairs Bureau, Labor Attache Alejandro Padaen ng Philippine Overseas Labor Office sa Abu Dhabi na tiniyak ng mga opisyal sa UAE na walang mangyayaring deportation.
Peke umano ang balita na dati na ring lumabas at kumalat sa Saudi Arabia at Oman.
