GDP growth target ibinaba ng gobyerno sa 6-7% dahil sa budget impasse

Ibinaba ng gobyerno, araw ng Miyerkules ang gross domestic product (GDP) growth target para sa taong ito sa 6 hanggang 7 percent mula sa 7 hanggang 8 percent.

Ito ay dahil sa epekto ng pagkakabalam ng pag-apruba sa 2019 national budget.

Itinaas din ng pamahalaan ang inflation target sa 3 hanggang 4 percent mula sa 2 hanggang 4 percent na original range.

Ibinaba na rin ang growth target para sa susunod na taon sa 6.5 hanggang 7.5 percent mula sa 7 hanggang 8 percent.

Ang GDP growth targets naman para sa 2021 hanggang 2022 ay mananatili sa 7 hanggang 8 percent ayon sa Development Budget Coordination Committee.

Ayon kay Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia, ang ekonomiya ngayong taon ay posibleng lumago lamang ng 4.2 hanggang 4.9 percent kung magpapatuloy ang delay sa pag-apruba sa pambansang pondo.
