Duterte kay Roxas: ‘You’re nothing; I can shoot you for free’
“You are nothing to me. I can even shoot you for free.”
Ito ang direktang pahayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para kay dating Senador at Interior Sec. Mar Roxas na senatorial candidate ng oposisyon na Otso Diretso para sa midterm elections sa Mayo.
Sa kanyang talumpati sa PDP-Laban rally sa Cauayan, Isabela Miyerkules ng gabi, sinabi ng Pangulo na si Roxas, na nakalaban niya noong 2016 presidential elections, ay walang loyalty dahil nagsilbi ito sa parehong administrasyon nina dating Pangulong Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ay Noynoy Aquino.
“Just because you are a namesake of a Roxas eh mahusay ka. Itong tao na’to walang loyalty ito. Panahon ni [President Gloria] Arroyo, nandiyan siya. Panahon ni [President Benigno] Aquino [III], nandun siya. Wala ito. Pretends to be somebody. Tao na walang prinsipyo,” ani Duterte.
Noong nakaraang linggo lamang ay ininsulto na rin ng Pangulo si Roxas.
Sinabihan nito ang dating opisyal na maging traffic aide na lamang.
Ito ay dahil sa viral video ni Roxas na nagdidirekta ng daloy ng trapiko.
