Ito ay matapos ding maabot ng Buhisan Dam sa Cebu City ang critical level.
Ayon kay Metro Cebu Water District (MWCD) spokesperson Charmaine Rodriguez-Kara, mula sa 6,000 cubic meters ay dumausdos sa 1,500 cubic meters ang suplay ng tubig sa Buhisan Dam.
Itinuturong dahilan ay ang epekto ng El Niño phenomenon sa Cebu.
Dahil dito, nanawagan si Kara sa mga Cebuano na magtipid na sa paggamit ng tubig.
Ito ay para masigurong may sapat na suplay ng tubig ang Cebu City hanggang matapos ang El Niño phenomenon.
