Prize-winning author, 21 UN workers kabilang sa nasawi sa bumagsak na Ethiopian Airlines

Kabilang ang isang prize-winning author, isang football official at team ng humanitarian workers sa mga nasawi sa bumagsak na Ethiopian Airlines Flight 30.

Ayon kay United Nations Spokesman Stephane Dujarric, sakay ng nasabing eroplano ang 21 nilang staff.

Dadalo sana ang nasabing mga UN workers sa week-long conference ng UN Environment Programme sa Nairobi nang mangyari ang insidente.

Tinukoy na rin ng mga otoridad ang nationalities ng mga nasawi sa plane crash.

Kabilang ang mga mula sa Kenya, Canada, Ethiopia, Italy, China at Estados Unidos.

Pinakamaraming nasawi ay pawang Kenyans na umabot sa 32.

Kasama ring nasawi ang isang Nigerian-bprn professor na kinilala at nabigyan ng Penguin Prize for African Writing award noong 2010.
