Inutusan ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) ang lahat ng district directors sa Metro Manila na palakasin ang intelligence gathering laban sa mga pulis na sangkot sa kalakaran ng bawal na gamot.
Ito ay matapos mahuli sa isang buy bust operation ang isang pulis-Maynila araw ng Biyernes at naaktuhan pang bumabatak ng shabu.
Sakop ng kautusan ni NCRPO chief Guillermo Eleazar ang Eastern Police District (EPD), Manila Police District (MPD), Northern Police District (NPD), Quezon City Police District (QCPD) at Southern Police District (SPD).
Dapat anyang malaman kung sino pa sa mga pulis ang sangkot sa droga.
Kasabay nito, nanawagan din ang police official sa publiko na makipagtulungan sa mga pulis sa pagsumbong sa mga pasaway na pulis.
“Our district directors, the five District Directors and Station Commanders, we will intensify our intelligence monitoring, counter intelligence to find out kung sino pa sa mga kasamahan namin (ang) involved sa droga at illegal activities. And we are appealing to the public to continue supporting and cooperating with us,” ani Eleazar.
May halagang P102,000 ang halaga ng shabu na nakuha sa pulis na si PO1 Ferdinand Rafael.
