Balutan sinibak sa PCSO dahil sa seryosong alegasyon ng korapsyon ayon sa Malakanyang
Kinumpirma ng Malakanyang na sinibak sa pwesto ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si PCSO General Manager Alexander Balutan.
Sa kabila ito ng pahayag ng kampo na Balutan na ito ay nagbitiw sa pwesto dahil sa personal na dahilan.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, seryosong alegasyon ng korapsyon ang dahilan kaya sinibak si Balutan sa pwesto.
“The Palace confirms that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (PRRD) has terminated the services of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Alexander Balutan on his present post due to serious allegations of corruption,” ayon kay Panelo.
Sinabi ni Panelo na malinaw noon pa na ang governance at public accountability ang twin hallmark ng Duterte administration.
At sinuman sa pamahalaan na mabigong makatugon dito ay mahaharap sa karampatang parusa.
Ani Panelo, magsisilbi itong babala sa lahat ng opisyal at empleyado ng gobyerno na ang kampanya ng administrasyon laban sa mga tiwali ay walang sasantuhin.
“The campaign against corruption like the war on prohibited drugs will be relentless and continuing until the last day of the President’s term,” dagdag pa ni Panelo.
