7 pulis Las Piñas sangkot sa kidnap for ransom, 1 pa dawit sa estafa
Nasa kustodiya na ng National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) ang pitong pulis ng Las Piñas na isinangkot sa kidnap for ransom.
Ayon kay NCRPO chief Police Major General Guillermo Eleazar, sa regional headquarters support unit sa Camp Bagong Diwa sa Bicutan, Taguig City isinilbi ang warrant of arrest para sa pitong pulis.
Kinilala ang mga pulis na sina Police Sergeant Joel Lupig, Police Corporal Jayson Arellano, Patrolman Jeffrey de Leon, Patrolman Mark Fulgencio, Patrolman Erickson Rivera at Raymart Gomez.
Ipina-aresto sila ni Judge Lorenzo dela Rosa ng Tagaytay RTC branch 134.
Inakusahan ang mga pulis ng pangongotong sa kapatid ng isang inaresto nilang drug suspect na si Cyrus Lugutan.
Samantala, arestado rin si Police Sergeant Rafael Muchuelas dahil naman sa kasong Estafa.
Inakusahan si Muchuelas ng kanyang kabaro na si Police Sergeant Jenaline Sad-ang nang pagtangay ng kanilang P2.6 million.
Nahikayat ng suspek na pulis si Sad-ang na maglagak ng pera sa kanyang kompaniya na may casino operations at accredited ng Pagcor.
Nadiskubre na ang kompaniya ng suspek ay hindi rehistrado sa Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
