PSA: Bilang ng mga Pinoy na walang trabaho, nabawasan

Kumaonti ang bilang ng mga Pilipino na walang trabaho batay sa tala ng Philippine Statistics Administration (PSA) noong Enero ng kasalukuyang taon.

Naitala ang 5.2 percent na unemployment rate na bahagyang mababa sa 5.3 percent noong January 2018.

Nasa 94.8 percent naman ang employment rate na bahagyang tumaas sa dating record na 94.7 percent sa parehong panahon noong nakaraang taon.

Nasa National Capital Region ang pinakamababang employment rate (93.6 percent) gayudin sa Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao o ARMM (93.7 percent) at Calabarzon (93.9 percent).

Naitala naman ang pinakamataas na employment rate sa Cagayan Valley (96.9 percent) at Western Visayas (96.1 percent).

Samantala, ang underemployment rate ay nasa 15.6 percent na mas mababa sa 18.0 percent noong Enero 2018.
