Comelec: Social media pages ng mga senatoriable, partylist groups dapat iparehistro

Labing tatlo pa lamang mula sa 62 kandidato sa pagka-senador para sa May 2019 midterm elections ang nakapagpa-rehistro ng kani-kanilang websites at social media pages sa Commission on Elections (Comelec),

Batay sa notice na inilabas ng poll body hanggang araw ng Miyerkules March 6, ang mga nagsumite pa lamang ng “Website Name and Web Address of Official Blog and/or Social Media Pages” ay sina:

  1. Sergio Osmeña
  2. Nancy Binay
  3. Danilo Roleda
  4. Pia Cayetano
  5. Cynthia Villar
  6. Bong Revilla
  7. Jose Manuel Diokno
  8. Bam Aquino
  9. Florin Hilbay
  10. Mar Roxas
  11. Koko Pimentel
  12. Jiggy Manicad
  13. Willie Ong

Sa hanay naman ng partylist groups, 25 lamang ang nakakapagpa-rehistro mula sa 181 partylist groups na tumatakbo sa halalan.

Paalala ng Comelec, kailangang irehistro sa Education and Information Department o EID ng komisyon ang website name at address ng official blog at social media pages ng mga kandidato sa national positions at partylist organizations.

Ayon sa Comelec, ang hakbang ay layong ma-monitor ang social media expenses ng mga kandidato para sa midterm elections.
