UP pinatikim ng talo ang La Salle sa UAAP 81 women’s volleyball
Itinigil ng University of the Philippines (UP) ang winning streak ng De La Salle University (DLSU) matapos ang kanilang laban kahapon sa UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball tournament sa Araneta Coliseum.
Wagi sa five sets ang Lady Maroons sa iskor na 21-25, 25-20, 25-21, 20-25, 15-12.
Sa post-game press conference sinabi ni Justine Dorog na ang paglalaro ng ‘may puso’ ang nagpanalo sa kanila sa laban.
Ito ang kauna-unahang panalo ng Lady Maroons kontra Lady Spikers simula pa sa first round ng Season 79.
Naniniwala si UP head coach Godfrey Okumo na mas agresibo ang kanyang koponan kagabi kumpara sa kalaban.
Nais ng UP na makuha ang kanilang unang panalo sa women’s volleyball tournament mula taong 1982.
