DICT bumuo ng Task Force para imbestigahan ang ‘Momo challenge’
Bumuo ng Task Force ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) para imbestigahan ang kontrobersyal na ‘Momo challenge.’
Layon ng binuong grupo na alamin kung may kinalaman nga ba ang laro sa pagkamatay ng 11-anyos na si Chlyv Jasper ‘CJ’ Santos na uminom ng halos 20 tableta ng gout medicine.
Ang Task Force ay binubuo ng mga opisyal mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP) National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), Department of Justice (DOJ) at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Sa isang press briefing sinabi ni DICT Sec. Eliseo Rio Jr. na hihingin ng Task Force ang tulong ng mga magulang ni CJ para balikan ang websites na binisita nito bago pumanaw.
Ani Rio, hindi ito isang criminal investigation dahil walang criminal complaint ngunit gagawin ang imbestigasyon para sa public safety.
Hanggang sa ngayon anya ay hindi pa makumpirma ng mga awtoridad kung ang momo challenge ay existing sa bansa.
