Heavy equipment sinunog ng mga rebeldeng NPA sa Cagayan
Sinunog ng mga hinihinalang miyembro ng rebeldeng New Peoples’ Army (NPA) ang mga heavy equipment na ginagamit sa pagsaayos ng kalsada Brgy. Agani, Alcala, Cagayan kagabi (Feb. 28).
Ayon sa ulat ng Alcala police, kabilang sa mga natupok ay tatlong mixer, isang compactor o pison, isang grader at isang dumptruck na pag-aari ng Camia Construction Company.
Aabot umano sa 20-miyembro ng NPA ang responsable sa panununog.
Ang mga natupok na heavy equipment ay kasalukuyang ginagamit para sa pag-konkreto ng mahigit 15-kilometrong provincial road sa silangang bahagi ng Alcala.
Patuloy naman ang imbestigasyon pa sa insidente.
