Pulis patay, isa pa sugatan sa enkwentro sa NPA sa Mindoro Oriental
Patay ang isang pulis habang sugatan ang isa pa sa sagupaan sa mga miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) sa Gloria, Oriental Mindoro Huwebes ng gabi.
Ayon kay Supt. Socrates Faltado, Mimarop police information officer, nagkaroon ng ng 30 minutong enkwentro sa Sitio Layan Layang sa Barangay Malamig alas 6:17 ng gabi.
Nasawi sa sagupaan si Police Officer 3 Edwin Encarnacion ng 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.
Habang ang nasugatang pulis ay si PO3 John John Morente.
Ang bakbakan ay kasunod ng pag-atake ng grupo ng mga rebelde sa Sta. Clara International Corporation, isang hydro power plant project sa Barangay Malvar sa bayan ng Naujan.
Sinunog ng mga rebelde ang heavy equipment na pag-aari ng kumpanya.
