Infra project, hindi maantala kahit hindi pa nalalagdaan ang 2019 budget – Diokno
Tiwala si Budget secretary Benjamin Diokno na tuloy pa rin ang implementasyon ng mga infrastructure budget ngayong taon.
Ito ay kahit sa kalagitnaan pa sa buwan ng Marso inaasahang mapipirmahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pambansang pondo.
Ayon kay Diokno, sa March 29 pa naman magsisimula ang ban ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa mga infrastructure project.
Iginiit pa ni Diokno na nagsumite na rin sila ng request sa Comelec para ma-exempt o hindi masama sa mga maipapatigil ang nasa higit 200 infrastructure projects ng administrasyon.
Ayon kay Diokno, iniimprinta pa ang kopya ng budget.
Aabutin pa aniya ng karagdagang limang araw para busisiin naman ng DBM at statement of difference.
Matapos nito ay saka palang ibibigay kay Duterte ang kopya ng budget at ang rekomendasyon para sa pagpirma niya dito.
