Alunan pinakahuling naidagdag sa mga pambato ni Duterte sa senatorial race
Si dating Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Raffy Alunan ang pinakahuling napasama sa 12-man senatorial slate ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte para sa May 13 midterm elections.
Kanina ay ipinakilala na si Alunan sa naging proclamation rally ng grupo ni Duterte sa Bian, Laguna.
Sinabi ni Alunan na isang malaking karangalan na napasama siya sa listahan ng pangulo.
Ang grupo ni Duterte ay binubuo ng limang kandidato mula sa ruling party na Partido ng Demokratikong Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) at pitong guest candidates.
Ang PDP-Laban candidates ay binubuo nina Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel, dating special assistant to the president Christopher “Bong” Go, dating PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, Maguindanao Rep. Zajid Mangudadatu, at dating presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino.
Kasama rin sa listahan ng pangulo sina Senators JV Ejercito, Sonny Angara at Cynthia Villar, Taguig Rep. Pia Cayetano, Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, at ang singer na si Freddie Aguilar.
