Pagdalo ni Andanar sa political sortie ipinagtanggol ni Duterte
Nilinaw ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na may basbas niya ang pagpunta at pag-eendorso ni Communications Sec. Martin Andanar sa sortie ni dating Special Assistant to the President Bong Go sa San Juan City.
Nauna na kasing sinabi ng pangulo na bawal sa mga miyembro ng gabinete at iba pang opisyal ng pamahalaan ang makialam sa pangangampanya ng mga kandidato sa darating na halalan.
Ayon sa pangulo, “That is why he was an exception. But the law says they can campaign. I did not allow the other members because they will be campaigning if they want to and they will be using government cars, government fuel. And I wanted to remove that kind of issue just to be fair.”
Ipinaliwanag ni Duterte na si Andanar ang tumayong proxy dahil hindi siya nakadalo sa nasabing political event.
“But Andanar, he’s an ideologue,” he said. “His guidance is very important to all of the PDP-Laban members. He’s a son of one of the founding fathers of PDP-Laban. And there are only few of them left,” dagdag pa ng pangulo.
Magugunitang mahigpit ang naging bilin ng pangulo sa mga tauhan ng pamahalaan na huwag gamitin ang mga pasilidad, sasakyan at iba pang pag-aari ng pamahalaan sa anumang uri ng political propaganda o endorsement.
Ganun rin ang kanyang bilin sa mga tauhan ng militar at pulisya na dumistansya sa anumang uri ng pangangampanya.
