Peter Tork ng ‘Monkees’, pumanaw na sa edad na 77

Pumanaw na sa edad na 77 ang bahista at singer ng bandang ‘Monkees’ na si Peter Tork.

Kinumpirma ng kapatid ng singer na si Anne Thorkelson ang pagkamatay ni Tork dahil sa sakit na cancer.

Nakiramay naman ang mga kaibigan at mga kapamilya ng singer sa Facebook page nito.

Ang bandang The Monkees ay isang 1960’s TV band na binubuo nila Davy Jones, Nesmith, Peter Tork at Micky Dolenz.

Ang grupo ay sikat sa kanilang No.1 single na “Daydream Believer”, na kumita ng milyong records.

Nag-disband naman ang grupo ng Monkees noong 1970.
