Duterte: Estudyante na nag-rally kontra gobyerno, hindi tatanggalan ng scholarship
Hindi pabor si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na tanggalan ng scholarship ang mga estudyanteng sumasali sa rally na kontra sa gobyerno.
Pahayag ito ng Pangulo sa panukala ni National Youth Commission (NYC) chairperson Ronald Cardema na alisan ng scholarship ang mga estudyante na panay sali sa mga rally.
Ayon sa Pangulo, hindi sapat na alisan ng scholarship ang mga estudyanteng nagpapahayag lamang ng kanilang damdamin gaya ng “pabagsakin ang gobyerno o pabagsakin ang rehimeng duterte.
Gayunman, sinabi ng Pangulo na ibang usapin na kapag nanghihikayat na ang estudyante sa mga kapwa estudyante na sumanib o magbigay ng suporta sa rebeldeng New Peoples Army (NPA).
“If they espouse the very government feeding food on their mouth, they will lose that. Mere presence of one’s crime does not make you liable. But if you go and say, let us go out, join the NPAs, support the NPAs, give food to the NPAs, money to the NPAs, then you espouse the destruction of the duly constituted government,” pahayag ni Duterte.
