Pasyente sa ospital sa Laguna, negatibo sa MERS-COV

Negatibo sa Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus o MERS-Cov ang pasyenteng sinuri dahil sa hinihinalang kaso ng sakit.

Ayon kay Department of Health-CALABARZON Regional Director Eduardo Janairo, matapos ang laboratory tests o pagsusuri sa lalaking pasyente, lumabas na negatibo siya sa pagkakaroon ng MERS-Cov.

Sinabi ni Janairo na mayroong pneumonia ang pasyante, at mananatili pa rin siya sa Research Institute for Tropical Medicine o RITM sa Muntinlupa dahil under observation pa siya.

Ang pasyente na 41-anyos ay isang OFW sa Riyadh, Saudi Arabia na umuwi sa Pilipinas noong February 14.

Pero kahapon ay naadmit ito sa Laguna Doctors Hospital sa Sta. Cruz, Laguna matapos na makaranas ng lagnat at ubo at iba pang sintomas, kaya dinala sa RITM para sumailalim sa pagsusuri.
