Mandatory training sa motorycle owners isinusulong ni Sen. JV Ejercito

Nais ni Senator JV Ejercito na magkaroon ng mandatory training ang lahat ng mga may-ari ng motorsiklo sa bansa.

Sa kanyang Senate Bill No. 1822, nais ni Ejercito na isama ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa kanilang requirement para mairehistro ang motorsiklo ang pagkakaroon ng certificate of completion bilang patunay na sumailalim sa pagsasanay ang may-ari ng motorsiklo.

Paliwanag ni Ejercito layon ng kanyang panukala na matuto ng tamang disiplina sa kalsada ang mga motorcycle drivers.

Aniya mayorya sa mga aksidente sa kalsada ay kinasasangkutan ng motorsiklo.

Sa kanyang panukala, gusto ng senador na gumawa ang DOTr at LTO katuwang ang ilang road safety advocate groups ng Comprehensive Motorcycle Safety Training Program and Manual na naglalaman ng driving rules and regulations, driving courtesy, road hazards, at maging vehicle safety features.

Ayon pa kay Ejercito batid niya ang pagiging delikado ng paggamit ng motorsiklo dahil isa din siyang motorcycle rider at aniya ang kanyang panukala ay dahil isa siyang road safety advocate.
