8 pang “prisoners of war” pinalaya ng NPA sa Agusan del Sur

Matapos palayain ang anim na militiamen, pinalaya ng New People’s Army (NPA) ang walo pang “prisoners of war” sa liblib na lugar sa Agusan del Sur.

Ang walong bihag, dalawang sundalo at anim na militiamen, ay hinostage simula pa noong December 19 nang salakayin ng mga rebelde ang detachment sa Barangay New Tubigon sa bayan ng Sibagat.

Ayon kay NPA Northeastern Mindanao region spokesperson Sandara Amihan, itinurn-over nila ang mga sundalo at militiamen kay dating Special Assistant to the President Bong Go at presidential son Baste Duterte sa liblib na barangay sa Bayugan City Martes ng hapon.

Kinumpirma naman ng militar na dinukot ng mga komunista si Corporal Eric Manangan at PFC Darlino Carino ng 3rd Special Forces Battalion.

Ang dalawa ay hindi bahagi ng grupo na pinalaya ng NPA noong February 14 sa Barangay San Juan, Bayugan City.
