Political ads sa public transport pwede ayon sa LTFRB
Inanunsiyo ng Land Transportation Franchising ang Regulatory Board o LTFRB na maaaring maglagay ng political advertisement sa mga public utility vehicles o P-U-V.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng ahensiya na pwede ito basta’t hindi nalalabag ang rules at regulations ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) pagdating sa election propaganda.
Nilinaw din ng ahensya na maaari lamang maglagay sa public utility jeepneys (PUJs), public utility buses (PUBs), at mga taxi.
Maliban sa mga alituntunin ng Comelec, dapat din anilang pumasa sa mga requirement at guidelines sa transit advertisement ng LTFRB.
Kailangan ng mga kandidatong maglalagay ng campaign materials ng permit at magbigay ng kalakip na bayad dito.
Sinumang lumabag, sinabi ng ahensya na mapapatawan ng minimum penalty fee na P10,000 at maximum punishment na pag-alis ng kanilang prangkisa.
