Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng lindol ay sa layong 36 kilometro Hilagang-Silangan ng Basco.
May lalim itong 156 kilometro at tectonic ang dahilan.
Hindi naman ito nagdulot ng pinsala sa mga ari-arian.
Hindi rin inaasahan ang mga kasunod na pagyanig o aftershocks.
