Mga hindi lisensyadong armas, ipinasusuko ng NCRPO

Nanawagan si National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Guillermo Eleazar sa mga gun owners na boluntaryong isuko ang kanilang mga baril na hindi lisensyado at yaong mga expired na ang lisensya.

Sa sidelines ng PMA annual homecoming sa Baguio City kahapon (Feb. 16), sinabi ni Eleazar na ito ay para lamang sa pansamantalang safekeeping.

Ani Eleazar, tutulungan pa ng pulisya ang mga gun owners sa renewal ng lisensya sakaling matapos na ang gun ban.

Giit ng opisyal, hindi kakasuhan o aarestuhin ang may-ari na magsusuko ng hindi lisensyadong baril.

Matatatandaang nagpapatupad ng gun ban upang tiyakin ang seguridad ng May 13 midterm elections.

Samantala, sinabi rin ni Eleazar na nananatiling ‘manageable’ ang peace and order situation sa Metro Manila.
