Konstruksyon ng PNR Clark Phase 1 project uumpisahan na

Nagsagawa na ng groundbreaking ceremony para sa pormal na pagsisimula ng NR Clark Phase 1 project.

Dumalo sa seremonya sina DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade, Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koji Haneda, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Chief Representative Yoshio Wada, Sumitomo Mitsui Construction President at CEO Hideo Arai, Undersecretary for Railways Timothy John Batan, PNR General Manager Junn Magno, Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado, at iiba pang opisyal.

Ang naturang proyekto ang magdudugtong sa PNR Tutuban sa Maynila hanggang sa Bulacan.

Sa 2021 inaasahang magiging operational ang phase 1 ng PNR Clark project at mabebenepisyuhan nito ang tinatayang 340,000 na mga pasahero kada araw.

Mayroong 10 istasyon at isang depot ang phase 1 ng PNR Clark project.

Ang phase 2 naman ng proyekto ay ididiretso hanggang sa Clark, Pampanga.
