Kinakalampag ng Department of Budget and Management ang mga walang trabaho sa bansa.
Ayon kay Budget Sec. Benjamin Diokno, aabot sa 250,000 na posisyon sa gobyerno ang nanatiling bakante as of February 12.
Partikular na nangangailangan ang gobyerno ng 192,000 na posisyon sa civil service, 42,000 na posisyon sa military at uniformed personnel.
Dagdag ni Diokno, nangangailangan din ngayon ang pamahalaan ng mga dagdag na guro.
Aabot aniya sa mahigit 7,000 ang bakante sa Department of Health.
Sa Department of Justice, aabot sa mahigit na tatlong libong posisyon ang nananatiling bakante.
Ipinaliwanag rin ng kalihim na may mga trabaho rin na naghihintay sa Department of Environment and Natural resources, Department of Public Works and Highways at Department of Interior and Local Government.
