Profiling sa ACT members, tuloy ayon sa PNP
Tuloy ang pagbabantay ng Philippine National Police sa mga guro na miyembro ng Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT).
Ayon kay PNP Spokesperson Sr. Supt. Bernard Banac, ito ay makaraang ibasura ng Court of Appeals ang petition petisyon laban sa ginagawang profiling sa ACT members.
Pero sinabi ni Banac na ang naturang operasyon ng pagbabantay sa mga guro ay hindi naman limitado lang sa mga miyembro ng ACT.
Ito ay aplikable aniya sa lahat ng hinihinalang kalaban ng estado.
Trabaho aniya ng PNP na mangulekta ng impormasyon laban sa mga threat groups, criminal groups, mga sindikato, terorista at iba pa.
Una nang sinabi ni PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde na mismong si Communist Party of the Philippines founder Jose Maria Sison ang nagsabi na ang ACT ay isa sa kanilang legal fronts.
Itinanggi naman ng ACT na sila ay bahagi ng komunistang grupo.
