Foreign Minister ng Japan, bibisita sa Pilipinas

Darating sa Pilipinas ang Foreign Minister ng bansang Japan.

Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nakatakdang bumisita sa bansa si Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono bukas Febuary 9 hanggang February 11 matapos imbitahan ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin.

Inaasahan din ang pagkikita nina Foreign Minister Kono at ni Pangulong Duterte sa isang inauguration ceremony ng Japanese Consulate General sa Davao.

Nakatakdang magkita si Locsin at Kono sa Febuary 10, 2019 sa Davao para pag-usapan ang mga mutual interest kasama na ang mga usapi sa pulitika, ekonomiya, at people-to-people engagement lalo na ang pagsuporta ng Japan sa pag-unlad ng imprastraktura sa Mindanao sa kalagayan ng pagpapatibay ng Bangsamoro Organic Law.
