Mga nasa likod ng Dengvaxia mess tiniyak ng Malacañang na mananagot

Walang sasantuhin ang Malacañang  sa isyu ng Dengvaxia vaccine controversy.

Pahayag ito ng palasyo matapos irekomenda ng House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability at Health ealth na sampahan ng kasong criminal at civil sina dating Pangulong Benigno Aquino III, dating Budget Sec. Butch Abad at dating Health Sec. Janet Garin dahil sa implementasyon ng Dengvaxia vaccine.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, malinaw ang polisiya ng administrasyon na dapat na kasuhan ang sinumang nagkasala sa batas kahit na ano pa ang political affiliation o social status ng isang tao.

Dagdag pa ng kalihim, “We defer to the House of Representatives, belonging to a separate and co-equal branch of government, on its recommendation to file charges against officials of the previous administration and other private individuals over the government’s suspended dengue vaccination program”.

Binigyang diin ni Panelo na iginagalang ng palasyo ang hiwalay at pantay na sangay ng gobyerno.

Mas makabubuti aniya na hayaan na rin lang na gumulong ang legal na proseso para maparusahan ang mga makikitang tunay na nagkasala.

Tiniyak din naman ni Panelo na gagawin ng Department of Justice ang mga tamang hakbang sa pag-aaral sa mga ebidensiya para matukoy kung mayroong probable cause laban sa mga akusado.
