Namayapa na ang dating pangulo ng South Korea na si Kim Young Sam sa edad na 87.

Ayon kay Oh Byung-Hee, presidente ng Seoul National University Hospital, serious blood infection ang dahilan ng pagkamatay ng dating pangulo.

Una rito, isinugod na sa pagamutan ang dating pangulo dahil sa mataas na lagnat.

Nagsilbing pangulo ng South Korea ang pro-democracy activist mula noong 1993 hanggang 1998.
