Pangalan ni Roque hindi na isasama sa balota – Comelec

Hindi na isasama ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ang pangalan ni dating Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque sa ii-imprentang balota para sa May 2019 elections.

Ayon kay Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez sa sandaling maisapormal ng kampo ni Roque ang pag-withdraw ng kandidatura ay hindi na isasama ang pangalan niya sa balota.

Sa ilalim ng rules ng Comelec, ang kandidatong nagpasyang mag-withdraw sa kandidatura ay kailangang maghain ng statement of withdrawal.

Ang kondisyon ng kaniyang kalusugan ang binanggit na dahilan ni Roque kaya umatras na ito sa pagtakbo bilang senador.
