DPWH, nagkasa ng job fair para sa libu-libong manggagawa ng Hanjin
Mag-aalok ng mga trabaho ang iba’t ibang ahensiya ng gobyerno para sa halos 3,000 manggagawa na sinasabing mawawalan ng trabaho dahil sa pagkalugi ng Hanjin Corporation.
Pamumunuan ng DPWH ang ‘job fair’ sa Subic Gymnasium sa Pebrero 9.
Sinabi ni Build, Build, Build (BBB) Committee Chairperson Anna Mae Lamentilo ng makikiisa din sa job caravan ang Department of Finance, Department of Budget and Management, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Department of Transportation, National Economic and Development Authority, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of National Defense, at Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.
Aniya sa ngayon may higit 17,000 posisyon ang bakante sa ibat ibang ahensiya ng gobyerno.
Inaasahan na 75 contractors ang makikibahagi din sa isasagawang job fair.
Base sa isinagawang profiling ng DOLE sa mga trabahador ng Hanjin marami sa kanila ay mga expert carpenters welders at may nalalaman sa computer.
Paglilinaw naman ni Lamentillo na hindi eksklusibo sa mga trabahador ng Hanjin ang job fair.
