Nationwide heightened alert, idineklara ng PNP kasunod ng Jolo Cathedral bombing
Idineklara ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang nationwide heightened alert kasunod ng pagsabog sa Jolo, Sulu kahapon.
Ayon sa PNP, epektibo ang heightened alert sa buong bansa kaninang (Jan. 28) alas 12:01 ng madaling araw.
Sinabi ni PNP spokesperson Senior Superintendent Bernard Banac ginawa ang deklarasyon para matiyak na hindi na magkakaroon ng kaparehong insidente sa iba pang mga lugar sa bansa.
Sa ilalim ng heightened alert, lahat ng police regional directors sa buong bansa ay kailangang magpatupad ng dagdag at mas pinalakas na security measures sa kanilang nasasakupan.
Inaatasan din silang higpitan ang pagpapatupad ng election gun ban.
