Pope Francis, kinondena ang ‘terrorist attack’ sa Jolo, Sulu
Mariing kinondena ni Pope Francis ang naganap na magkasunod na pambobomba sa Our Lady of Mt. Carmel sa Jolo, Sulu sa kasagsagan ng Banal na Misa.
Sa talumpati sa harap ng mga AIDS patients sa Panama, tinawag ng Santo Papa na isang ‘terrorist attack’ ang insidente.
Ang karahasan anyang ito ay nagdulot na naman ng pagdadalamhati sa buong Sambayanang Kristiyano.
Tiniyak ni Pope Francis ang panalangin para sa mga nasawi at nasugatan sa pag-atake.
Umaasa ang lider ng Simbahang Katolika na magbabalik-loob sa Panginoon ang mga mayroong marahas na puso.
“I reiterate my firm condemnation of this act of violence that causes more mourning in the Christian community. I pray for the dead and the injured. May the Lord, prince of peace, convert the hearts of the violent ones,” ani Pope Francis.
Hindi bababa sa 20 ang nasawi at higit 100 ang sugatan sa pag-atake sa Jolo Cathedral.
Let us pray for the victims of the terrorist attack on the Cathedral of Jolo, in the Philippines. May the Lord, Prince of Peace, convert the hearts of the violent, and grant the inhabitants of that region a peaceful coexistence.
