Nagpatupad ng preemptive evacuation sa 4 na bayan sa Davao de Norte dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng lebel ng tubig sa Saug River bunsod ng malakas na pag-uulan sa lugar.
Ayon kay Glenda Delideli, pinuno ng Davao del Norte Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Sabado ng hapon ay inilikas ang mga residente mula sa mga bayan ng Talaingod, Asuncion, New Corella at Kapalong.
Nagpatupad ang mga otoridad ng alert level 3 o forced evacuation sa mga barangay ng Buan, Camansa, New Loon, Sonlon, Buclad, Cabaywa, Cambanogoy, Camoning, Canatan, Conception, Doña Andrea, Magatos, Napungas, New Bantayan, Pamacaun, San Vicente at Sta. Felomina.
Sa video na naka-post sa Pdrrmc DavNor Facebook, mapapakinggan ang pagtunog ng emergency mass warning siren sa Saug Dam sa Bgy. Sagayen, Asuncion at mapapanood ang pagtaas ng tubig sa ilog.
