Expanded Maternity Leave hinihintay na lang na malagdaan ni Duterte

Pirma na lang ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang kailangan para maging ganap na batas ang 100-day maternity leave.

Inaprubahan ng Senado at Kamara ang Expanded Maternity Leave (EML) noong October 2018.

Ayon kay DIWA Party-list Representative at ngayo’y Justice Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, na-transmit na sa Pangulo ang EML para sa kanyang lagda.

Sa ilalim ng naturang batas, lahat ng nagtatrabahong ina ay mayroong 105 na araw na paid maternity leave credits, 7 araw sa mga ito ay pwedeng magamit ng ama.

Habang dagdag na 15 araw na maternity leave ang para sa single mother.
